Toner & Cartridge Introduction

Environmental Responsibility

Vintage PrintHouse Sdn Bhd has been envisioned to be a source of specialist product that contributes to energy conservation, sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Remanufacturer laser toner cartridges product not only save your money, it prevents excess waste from entering our landfills.

Each time you use a remanufacturer cartridge, you will eliminate ½ kg of plastic from the waste stream, and conserve 1 liter of oil and other energy require producing a new cartridge.

Millions of printer cartridges were thrown away each year. Laser toner cartridges, inkjet cartridges, photocopier toner bottles and drums contribute to the amount of over thousands of tones of wastage. All these will eventually end up in the landfill. A laser cartridge takes about 450 years to decompose in
the landfill.

90 percent of all throw-away cartridges are laser print cartridges. More than 3.4 liters of oil are needed
in order to make a new laser cartridge. In just a year, we could save 4.3 million liters of oil in a country of
22 million people by just recycling the cartridges.

“Over 80% of our used printer cartridges are going directly to Landfill”

Why use remanufactured toner cartridge?

Appended below with the important information for those choosing to purchase remanufactured toner cartridge.

The manufacturing process:

The empty (used) cartridge undergoing remanufacturing process are first disassembled and the parts inspected. Key parts included drum, magnetic roller, wiper blade and doctor blade. Worn or defective parts are replaced, and the cartridge is cleaned, refilled and reassembled, tested for print quality before packaging out for sale.

When remanufactured by reputable companies implementing good quality management system. Remanufactured toner cartridge will perform as well as oem cartridges.

Remanufactured toner cartridge save money and typically cost approximately 30% less on a copy basis than a non- remanufactured cartridge. Cartridge remanufacturers even buy back the used cartridge or provide a credit, depending on the model. Therefore saving even more cost saving.

Environmental benefits:

By weight, a typical ready to disposed used toner cartridge is made of 5% of aluminum, 26% steel, 35% plastic, and 32% card board packaging. All of these materials can either be reused to create remanufactured cartridge, or recycled to produce other stuff like rulers, etc.

Conserves resources

Using remanufactured toner cartridges reduce pollution and waste by minimizing the amount of materials, such as plastic, metal, aluminum and rubber, disposed of in landfills. It also conserves natural resources, by eliminating for virgin materials used to make new cartridge.
